US Kids Golf North of Ireland Local Tour Launched

For the first time Ireland will have its own US Kids Local Tour The North of Ireland Local Tour. The tour comprises 6 events for boys and girls from 5 to 14 years of age. The North of Ireland Local Tour will have its own Order of Merit and a special Local Tour Championship event as a finale.

Tour Director Zoe Allen is excited about bringing US Kids Events to Ireland.

Following the success of the US Kids Learning Programme at Lurgan Golf Club, I am delighted to establish the first US Kids Local Tour in Ireland. The young Golfers will enjoy every minute of taking part in the US Kids North of Ireland Local Tour events. I have helped organise a number of US Kids events in USA at a Local and State level and worked at the European and World Championships. US Kids Tournaments take Junior Golf events to a new level both for players and parents. I'm sure parents and kids will be excited, not only with the events, but by taking part in the only Irish Local Tour there is the possibility of qualifying for the US Kids European Championships and World Championships. I would like to thank all the Golf Clubs who have agreed to support the North of Ireland Local Tour their support recognises the benefits of supporting Junior Golf.

About the North of Ireland Local Tour

Each event will be run to US Kids standards including:

• Specific course layout designed for the age group and gender
• All tournaments will be held based on the yardages represented under Age Groups & Yardages
• Online Competitor entry
• Pre Tournament registration at each venue
• Caddies, parents are encouraged to caddy and Caddy bibs are available. Players age 8 and under must have a caddie at all times
• Rules officials
• Official Scorers
• Online results

Every tournament on the Tour will be run like a European Tour professional event!

To enter you need to register online for The North of Ireland Local Tour. Once you are registered you may enter as many events as you choose within that tour.

US Kids Golf European and World Championships

As the North of Ireland Local Tour is fully accredited by US Kids Golf, competitors will have the opportunity not only to win each event but to qualify for the US Kids European Championships held in Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland or even compete in the US Kids World Championships held each year in Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA.
