The weather was perfect for the second event of the weekend at Allen Park. The course and in particular the greens were in superb condition for the young players.
The first of two double header weekends on the U.S. Kids North of Ireland Summer Tour took the players to beautiful Ballycastle, for a test of links golf, followed by a stiff parkland challenge provided by the stunning Lurgan Golf Club.
The Castlerock Course was in perfect condition with the fairways almost quicker then the greens! It was great to see new players enter the first official U.S. Kids North of Ireland Summer Tour event in addition to those who played in the Spring Tour.
Lurgan golfer had double reason to celebrate at the U.S. Kids Golf North of Ireland Summer Tour event at Lurgan Golf Club. Not only did he win the event but he made a hole in one.
July is a busy month in any Golfer’s calendar and especially this year for Zoe whose activities range from teaching at Lurgan’s Golf Academy, running summer camps, shooting videos for the Belfast Telegraph and teaching at the Swingzone at The Open Championship in Portrush.

The first Tour Championship of the US Kids North Of Ireland Spring Tour was held at Lurgan Golf Club. There was a great atmosphere with some front runners confirming their lead and in other age groups players fighting for the top spot.
One week into my trip to the Michelle Holmes School of Golf and having a great time so far!

The US Kids North Of Ireland Spring Local Tour event this week was played at Shandon Park Golf Club Belfast. This was the first parkland course on this year's tour and was in excellent condition for the young players.
The US Kids North Of Ireland Spring Local Tour rolled into the stunning Ballycastle Golf Club in the beautiful seaside town with spectacular views of Scotland in the distance.
Bangor Co Down was the venue for this weeks U.S. Kids Golf North of Ireland Tour event. This was the first time the tour had visited Bangor.
U.S. Kids Golf North of Ireland Tour returned to Galgorm Castle for the second event of the double header weekend.
The U.S. Kids Irish Open hosted by Mount Wolseley Hotel Spa & Golf Resort continued to grow in 2023 with over 140 players from 14 different countries represented. The 2024 U.S. Kids Irish Open returns to Mount Wolseley Hotel Spa & Golf Resort on July 9-10, 2024.

The North of Ireland Local Parent/Child is a chance for parents to team up with their young player for a fun day of golf on Saturday 31st August 2024.
The US Kids North of Ireland Local Tour 2024 will comprise two tours held in Spring and Fall. This year all events will be open to players up to age 18. View the venues here.
The U.S. Kids Golf North of Ireland Local tour is the first U.S. Kids Local tour in the UK and Ireland, The U.S. Kids North of Ireland local tour, Summer schedule has now been released. The tour comprises eight events to be held during June, July and August. This is a very exciting opportunity to introduce tournament golf to kids. They will enjoy being on the course, making new friends and getting to spend time on the course with parents.
Massereene was host to this week’s North of Ireland Summer Tour. The damp conditions tested the young players with scoring in most groups a bit higher than normal.

A great start to 2022 with things more or less back to normal after a crazy few years with lots of stoppages in golf.
January 2022 started with the PGA Golf Show in Orlando. It’s great networking and spending time with the World’s Top Golf Coaches, a huge motivational start to the year!
Golf Ireland ran an R&A Women in Golf Leadership Programme which I was asked to be a part of in January 2022. I continued to be involved in all aspects of the course throughout the year.
When PGA Professionals, Michelle Holmes and Zoe Allen met Kenyan PGA Professional Emanuel Kasio, they were impressed with Emanuel’s achievements in introducing Golf to children in Kenya. Emanuel, one of six US Kids Master Teachers based outside USA, has ambitious plans to run US Kids tournaments in Kenya and introduce Golf to neighbouring Uganda and Rwanda.

Zoe was delighted to take part in a recent Golf NI Podcast presented by Journalist Paul Kelly and broadcaster Maurice Jay. Every fortnightly Paul and Maurice present a lively programme and chat about all things relating to Irish golf.
The 4th annual Irish Golf Expo was held at the Titanic Exhibition Centre, Belfast. With lots of Golf related activities and displays on offer.
