The weather was perfect for the second event of the weekend at Allen Park. The course and in particular the greens were in superb condition for the young players.
The first of two double header weekends on the U.S. Kids North of Ireland Summer Tour took the players to beautiful Ballycastle, for a test of links golf, followed by a stiff parkland challenge provided by the stunning Lurgan Golf Club.
The Castlerock Course was in perfect condition with the fairways almost quicker then the greens! It was great to see new players enter the first official U.S. Kids North of Ireland Summer Tour event in addition to those who played in the Spring Tour.
Lurgan golfer had double reason to celebrate at the U.S. Kids Golf North of Ireland Summer Tour event at Lurgan Golf Club. Not only did he win the event but he made a hole in one.
July is a busy month in any Golfer’s calendar and especially this year for Zoe whose activities range from teaching at Lurgan’s Golf Academy, running summer camps, shooting videos for the Belfast Telegraph and teaching at the Swingzone at The Open Championship in Portrush.

The first Tour Championship of the US Kids North Of Ireland Spring Tour was held at Lurgan Golf Club. There was a great atmosphere with some front runners confirming their lead and in other age groups players fighting for the top spot.
One week into my trip to the Michelle Holmes School of Golf and having a great time so far!
