Age Groups and Yardages
Players in each age group and gender play of tee markers appropriate to their age and gender.
At each tournament the the course will have 8 different sets of tees and depending on age, players will play a course appropriate for their age group.
Tournaments
U.S Kids Golf Tournaments provide Junior Golfers with additional competition outside their Golf Club environment. In fact you don’t need to be a Golf Club member to compete in U.S. Kids Golf Tournaments.
Local Tour events are designed for players aged 5-18, importantly it provides vital competition for younger players who only experience club competition.
U.S.Kids Golf Tour members are assigned Priority Status based on how they perform from level 1-14 plus an elite "Life Time" category for World Champions. The higher your Priority Status the more invitations you will receive to more prestigious U.S. Kids Tournaments.

Online Competitor Entry
For your convienience, all U.S. Kids Golf Tournament entries are processed online.
The U.S. Kids website will also have information on the tournament draw and the results are also posted online.
Pre Tournament registration at each venue
The registration desk opens 1 hour before the first tee time where players check in and follow the U.S. Kids Golf tradition of signing the U.S. Kids flag. The flag is presented to the host Golf Club as a memento.
Caddies
Parents are encouraged to caddy and U.S. Kids Golf Caddy bibs are available.
Players age 8 and under must have a caddie at all times.

U.S. Kids Golf Rules Officials are available on course should you be unsure what your options are.
Scoring & Results
U.S. Kids Staff assist with scoring at the Scoring Desk. It's the same process you may have seen on TV in Professional Tournaments!
All results are entered on the U.S. Kids Website where Order of Merit points are automatically calculated.

European & World Championships
As the North of Ireland Local Tour is fully accredited by U.S. Kids Golf, competitors will have the opportunity not only to win each event but to qualify for the US Kids European Championships held in Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland or even compete in the US Kids World Championships held each year in Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA.
The U.S. Kids North of Ireland Tour has enabled a number of players to qualify for the 2024 European and World Championships and the Prestigious Venice Open. Those who compete in the U.S. Kids North of Ireland Spring Tour in 2025 have the potential to qualify for the 2025 World Championships at Pinehurst.
